Own one language forever, use one language yearly, or subscribe to every language monthly. Here's exactly what each option means.
- $89.99 lifetime, one language. You get all content published for that language today — the A1 level is still growing toward completion — and future content we publish for it at no extra charge.
- $39.99/year, one language. The same published content stays unlocked while the auto-renewing annual plan is active.
- $14.99/month, every language. All current and future Flua languages stay unlocked while the auto-renewing monthly plan is active.
- Refunds are handled by the seller. Request one through Apple, Google Play, or Polar; support can help you find the right route.
- If Flua ever winds down, we'll do right by lifetime buyers where we reasonably can — but a purchase isn't a promise to run the service forever.
1What a language purchase gives you
A $89.99 one-time purchase unlocks one language with no recurring charge. It includes all content published for that language today — the A1 level is still growing toward completion — and every future level we publish for that language at no additional cost.
We do not promise that any specific future level, deck, or feature will be available by a particular date. You are buying the language as it exists today and will receive later published content automatically.
2Annual and monthly subscriptions
The $39.99/year annual plan unlocks one language. The $14.99/month monthly plan unlocks every current Flua language and languages we add later. Both include the content published for their covered languages while the plan is active.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel through the account used to purchase (App Store, Google Play, or Polar). Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues through the paid period. A separate lifetime purchase remains yours after a subscription ends. Prices may change for future billing periods with any notice required by the store or law.
3Refunds
Refund requests are handled by the store or payment provider that sold the purchase: Apple, Google Play, or Polar. Their rules and applicable consumer law govern eligibility. Email support@tryflua.com if you need help locating the correct request process.
4If Flua changes or shuts down
Your purchase grants access to a language's content as it exists and as we release it — it is not a commitment by us to operate Flua indefinitely. We may add, change, or discontinue features, content, or the service itself.
If we ever discontinue Flua, or move a language to a different pricing model (for example, a subscription), we intend to treat existing lifetime purchasers fairly and may, at our discretion, offer affected owners reasonable consideration — such as a complimentary membership period of comparable or greater value than what they paid. This is a statement of intent and good faith, not a binding guarantee of perpetual service or any particular compensation.
5Your licence to use Flua
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Flua app and the decks you've unlocked, for your own language learning. You may not resell, share, redistribute, sublicense, publicly post, scrape, bulk-export, or reverse-engineer the decks, audio, or other content, or use them to build or train a competing product or dataset. All app and content intellectual property remains ours.
6No guarantee of results
Flua is a study tool designed to make learning efficient. Your results depend on your own effort and consistency, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome — a specific score, level, fluency, or amount of time to reach it. Any time or progress figures we publish are illustrative, not promises.
7Service "as is" & liability
Flua is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Flua is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the language at issue. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
